Cerro Torre has a passion for the outdoors. Its brand name, Cerro Torre, originates from a mountain in Patagonia, known for its "high peak". It eventually led the company into the idea of using well-known mountains & lakes around the world, as name(s) for their product lines. Founded in 1988, Cerro Torre has over 15 years experience in accommodating / outfitting outdoor enthusiasts & professional adventurists. The company's main focus was to design and distribute high-tech outdoor equipment and apparel.
Cerro Torre specializes in manufacturing technical backpacks used by ice climbers, mountaineering professionals, snowboarders, bikers, skiers, and trekkers.
Cerro Torre products are distributed around the world, including Europe & North America. They also are supplying their own brands backpacks, clothing together with imported brands items to 75 individual retails stores in South Korea.
Private labeling is also a key factor in establishing Cerro Torre as a strong industry player. Nearly one-third of the company's annual revenue derives from working with well-known OEM's (Original Equipment Manufacturer). The company is now expanding its sales efforts to grow and establish its own brand as an industry leader of outdoor technology & craftsmanship.
